General Description

        Argumentum  is the scientific journal of the Seminar of Discursive Logic, Argumentation Theory and Rhetoric, a research center functioning since 2000 in the Department of Philosophy of "Al. I. Cuza" University, Iaşi.

Frequency

       It was founded in 2002 and comes out twice a year at Axis Academic Foundation Press, Iaşi.

Editorial policy

        We publish original articles and book reviews in logic, argumentation theory, rhetoric and communication sciences. We only publish articles that have not been published before. Republication of an already published article is possible only in exceptional cases.

        Argumentum is a peer-review journal.

        Texts can be written in English and French.

        Any opinions expressed in the articles belong to the authors and do not represent the point of view of the publishers, editors, or members of the editorial board.

Distribution

        The journal is distributed nationally, amongst various university libraries .The journal is available free of charge in its electronic format on this website.

Authorís rights

        All rights remain with the authors. Authors retain the right to republish their articles, in original or in a changed form, with a note about the fact that they were first published in our journal.
