Gheorghe VLASIE (n. 1970) is Ph.D. student (logic speciality) at the "Al. I. Cuza" University in the year 2000 (advisor: Prof. Petru Ioan, with a thesis on the concept of rational grounding in a semiotical approach). Currently he is assistant professor of the Chair of Logic and Systematic Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, "Al. I. Cuza" University, Iassy. His competence fields include traditional logic, discursive logic, rhetoric and semiotic. He is a member of the Seminar of Discursive Logic, Theory of Reasoning and Rhetoric. He has published papers in logic and semiotic.
