Call for Submissions: 2nd International Student Symposium “The Challenges of Intercultural Encounters: Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Humanities”

Dear Students,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd Edition of the International Student Symposium, titled The Challenges of Intercultural Encounters: Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Humanities.
We welcome proposals that examine intercultural encounters in the postmodern world and their diverse perspectives, as reflected in the research and insights of emerging scholars from universities worldwide.
Application deadline: 29 October 2025
Submissions should include:
- Title of your paper
- Abstract in English (150–200 words)
- 4–5 keywords

The Challenges of Intercultural Encounters: Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Humanities

Dear Students,
On Tuesday, 29 October 2024, at 10:00 a.m., students of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC) are invited to take part in the 1st Edition of the International Symposium The Challenges of Intercultural Encounters: Perspectives from the Social Sciences and Humanities. The event will take place in the Council Hall of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social and Political Sciences.
The symposium aims to foster discussion on the challenges and dynamics of intercultural encounters in the postmodern world, bringing together perspectives from the social sciences and humanities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in academic dialogue shaped by the insights of young researchers from universities around the world.
Students interested in participating are invited to apply by 28 October 2024 by sending:
- the title of the proposed paper,
- an abstract in English (150–200 words),
- 4–5 keywords
