CALL FOR PAPERS

The European Union is operating in an era marked by profound strategic disruption. The global social and political environment is undergoing rapid transformation, shaped by economic imbalances, geopolitical rivalries, technological acceleration, and security uncertainties. The shift toward an increasingly multipolar international order, the reconfiguration of alliances, and the resurgence of great-power competition are redefining the EU’s external environment and testing its capacity to act as a coherent global actor. At the same time, the Union faces significant internal challenges. Democratic resilience is strained by political fragmentation, declining trust in public institutions, ideological polarization, and the spread of disinformation. Against this backdrop, sustained and critical academic dialogue is essential for rigorously assessing these transformations and fostering informed debate.

AGORA International Conference aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and decision-makers to explore trends and future perspectives in both global and European politics. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome, with a focus on analyzing the key political and social transformations that shape governance and decision-making processes. The conference encourages interdisciplinary approaches drawn from the social and political sciences, international relations, communication sciences, political philosophy, and other related fields.
