Camelia Grădinaru is an Associate Professor PhD at the Department of Communication Sciences and Public Relations, Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences (“Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași). She is currently teaching New media, Multimedia, Social media, Digital PR. She has held research grants and mobilities in Switzerland, France, Hungary, and Belgium. She has co-edited several volumes on digital culture and interdisciplinarity and she published book chapters at Romanian and international publishing houses (France, Poland, and the USA). Her latest book is New Media and Philosophy: Crossroads Studies (2020). Her research focuses on digital media, the online mediation and mediatization of lifeworld and culture, Artificial Intelligence, and her numerous papers have been published in journals such as Empedocles: European Journal for the Philosophy of Communication, Memory Studies, Sign Systems Studies, Humanités numériques.
