International Graduate Conference in Communication 

Iași, May 29-30, 2025

The PhD School in Philosophy and Socio-Political Sciences – Communication Sciences Domain from the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, in partnership with PhD Schools in Communication Sciences from the University of Bucharest, “Babeș-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), and the West University of Timișoara welcomes PhD students in communication sciences to the 4 th edition of The International Graduate Conference in Communication. The conference allows scholars to share the results of their research, including work in progress and parts of their theses, and attend other panel presentations and workshops on specific topics. Besides, it will provide a setting for discussing and reflecting upon the research efforts that graduate students in communication sciences are currently engaged in.

Topics

The organizers encourage PhD students to participate in this event no matter the subdomain of their theses belongs to (e.g. public relations, media studies, advertising, semiotics, marketing communication, political communication, digital communication) and the phase of their research (e.g. publishable research article, literature reviews of the doctoral research, methodological approaches, preliminary results of the empirical study).

In addition to the panels, national and international senior scholars will deliver workshop(s) on relevant topics for the development of the PhD research.

Conference Abstracts Submission: Abstact Format

The abstracts in English (using the abstract provided) should be submitted via email to no later than March 22, 2025. They will undergo a peer-review process.
