Conf. univ. dr. Gabriela Irimescu
Gabriela Irimescu este doctor în sociologie (teza cu titlul Protecția socială a copilului abuzat) şi conferențiar universitar în cadrul Departamentului de Sociologie şi Asistenţă Socială, Facultatea de Filosofie şi Ştiinţe Social-Politice, Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi. A absolvit Facultatea de Filosofie şi Ştiinţe Social-Politice, specializare asistență socială în anul 1995, și modului de studii aprofundate Acţiune socială şi dezvoltarea resurselor umane în anul 1999.
Principalele sale domenii de interes vizează asistența socială a familiei și a copilului, asistența socială a copilului victimă a abuzului, violența în familie, crizele familiale, grupul în practica asistenței sociale, terapia familială.
A publicat lucrarea Protecţia socială a copilului abuzat, 2006 şi este coautor a mai multor volume, autor de cursuri universitare și manuale pentru asistenții sociali. Este autor al mai multor rapoarte de cercetare, capitole de cărţi şi studii publicate în reviste și cărți de specialitate. Are experienţă ca cercetător în proiecte cu finanţare publică şi privată. Este psihoterapeut sistemic de familie și cuplu.

Gabriela Irimescu has a PhD in Sociology (her thesis is titled Social Protection of the abused Child) and she is an associated Professor within the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Iaşi. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences in 1995, majoring in Social Work; she also graduated from the master studies Social action and the development of human resources in 1999.
Her main fields of interest concern the social work of children and family, the social work of children victims of abuse, family violence, family crises, group in social work practice, family therapy.
She published the work The social protection of the abused child (2006) and she has co-authored several volumes; she has also written university courses and handbooks for social workers. She is the author of several research reports, book chapters and studies published in scientific journals and books. She is an experienced researcher in projects with public and private funding. She is also a systemic psychotherapist for family and couple.

Prof. univ. dr. Adrian Netedu
Adrian Netedu este doctor în sociologie (teza cu titlul Dimensiunea socială a procesului decizional) şi profesor universitar în cadrul Departamentului de Sociologie şi Asistenţă Socială, Facultatea de Filosofie şi Ştiinţe Social-Politice, Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iaşi. A fost bursier postdoctoral al Academiei Române cu tema Absolvenții de studii superioare şi piața muncii. Principalele sale domenii de interes vizează statistica sociala, demografia, teorii sociologice contemporane, sociologie urbană, metodologie sociologică. Dintre ultimele volume de autor amintim Demografie şi sociologia populaţiilor, Ed. UAIC, Iaşi, 2016 şi Informatică şi analiza datelor, Ed. UAIC, 2016. Este autor sau coautor al unor capitole din vol. Recent Trends in Social Systems: Quantitative Theories and Quantitative Models (Studies in Systems, Decision and Control) [A. Maturo, S. Hosková-Mayerová, D.-T. Soitu, J. Kacprzyk., eds.], Springer, 2016 sau în vol. Étudier à l’Est. Expériences de diplômés africains [Monique de Saint Martin, Grazia Scarfo Ghellab, Kamal Mellakh eds.], Ed. Karthala, France, 2015. A fost membru în mai multe proiecte de cercetare de anvergură naţională şi internaţională. Este autor a diverse rapoarte de cercetare pentru ONG-uri sau instituţii de specialitate.

Adrian Netedu, has a PhD in sociology (thesis entitled The social dimension of decision making) and is professor in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University. It was the Romanian Academy Postdoctoral Fellow with the theme regarding Higher education graduates and the labor market. His main areas of interest aimed at social statistics, demography, contemporary sociological theories, urban sociology, sociological methodology. The two last books published are Demography and the Sociology of Populations, Ed. UAIC, Iaşi, 2016 and Informatics and data analysis, Ed. UAIC, 2016. He was the author or coauthor of several chapters of the vol. Recent Trends in Social Systems: Quantitative and Quantitative Theories Models (Studies in Systems and Control Decision) [A. Maturo, S. Hosková-Mayerová, D.-T. Soitu, J. Kacprzyk., Eds.], Springer, 2016 or the vol. Étudier à l'Est. Experiences of diplômés africains [Monique de Saint Martin, Grazia Scarfo Ghellab, Kamal Mellakh eds.], Ed. Karthala, France, 2015. He was member of several research projects of national and international scale. It is the author of various research reports for NGOs or specialized institutions.
